Drainer is used for draining water and dirt from Solar Panels. When angle of inclination of Solar Panel is less, the water along with dirt gets accumulated on the edges of the Solar Panels. This water and dirt then covers the solar cells which are near to edges of panel. This causes Hotspots as well as decrease in generation from Solar Panels.
Drainer removes this water and dirt from panels providing passage from edges for water and dirt to flow down.
These drainers generally clips to edges of solar panel. They are easy to install and compact in nature.
